JERUSALÉN. Israel acusó al jefe de la ONU, Antonio Guterres, de haber sido incapaz de “impedir los ataques de Hezbolá” , después de que el diplomático dijera que Líbano se estaba convirtiendo, tras los bombardeos israelíes, en una “pesadilla” similar a la de Gaza.
La invasión rusa de Ucrania o conflictos en Gaza y Sudán, donde las partes en conflicto ignoran el derecho internacional y las Convenciones de Ginebra, muestran que el mundo sufre una “epidemia de impunidad”, aseguró hoy el secretario general de la ONU, António Guterres, en el Foro de Davos.

El secretario general de las Naciones Unidas, António Guterres, alertó hoy en el Foro de Davos sobre los riesgos que entraña el actual desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial, en manos de firmas tecnológicas “que buscan beneficios con una temeraria indiferencia hacia los derechos humanos”.
Naciones Unidas, 15 ene (EFE).- El secretario general de la ONU, António Guterres, volvió a reclamar este lunes un alto el fuego humanitario en la Franja de Gaza y pidió a Israel y a Líbano, ante la tensión que se vive estos días en la frontera, que dejen de “jugar con fuego”.
Jerusalén, 12 ene (EFE).- Más de 10.000 menores han muerto en la Franja de Gaza en poco más de tres meses de dura ofensiva militar israelí, y otros miles están desaparecidos presuntamente sepultados bajo los escombros, denunció la organización Save the Children.
Naciones Unidas, 11 ene (EFE).- La organización Human Rights Watch (HRW) hizo este jueves público su informe de los derechos humanos en el mundo y destacó como tendencias más preocupantes la “indignación selectiva” ante los abusos y la “diplomacia transaccional” que consiste en perdonar los abusos a algunos países a cambio de contrapartidas políticas, comerciales o migratorias.
