Arsenal empata y Liverpool se escapa hacia el título

El Arsenal encadenó un tercer partido sin victoria en la Premier League, este domingo en casa del Manchester United (1-1) , un resultado que le da al líder Liverpool una cómoda ventaja de quince puntos sobre los Gunners.

El Liverpool dio el sábado un paso más hacia el título al derrotar 3-1 al colista Southampton, con un doblete de Mohamed Salah, y alcanzar los 70 puntos, aunque ha disputado un partido más que el Arsenal.

El equipo londinense (2º, 55 pts) , a pesar de haber brillado el martes contra el PSV Eindhoven (7-1) en la ida de octavos de la Liga de Campeones, volvió a tropezar. Esta vez en el mítico Old Trafford.

Incluso ve al tercer clasificado, el Nottingham Forest (51 pts) , vencedor la víspera contra el Manchester City (1-0) , acercarse a cuatro puntos.

1) Máximo goleador extranjero (184 goles, junto a Sergio Agüero).

2) Mayor cantidad de contribuciones de gol (44) en una temporada de 38 partidos: Thierry Henry (2002/03), Erling Haaland (2022/23).
